H. Moser & Cie. has added a new model to its Endeavour Perpetual Calendar line, this timepiece with a smoked salmon dial. This deep, unique hue is the same as the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoke Salmon, which was produced for a one-year limited run in 2023.

H. Moser & Cie.'s playful dial expression comes to life

 H. Moser & Cie. has been creating watches that are simple yet instantly recognizable as the brand's model by using minimalist dials as a canvas and applying original colors and decorations. The model with a smoked salmon dial newly added to the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar is a watch that is typical of the company.

Manual-winding (Cal. HMC 800). 32 jewels. 18,000 vph. Power reserve approximately 168 hours. 18K White Gold case (42mm diameter, 13.1mm thick). Water resistant to 3 ATM. Estimated price: 10,395,000 yen (tax included). Scheduled to arrive in Japan in November 2025.

The dial, with its satin texture thanks to the Griffe finish, has a gradation from a smoky salmon pink in the center to a dark brown towards the periphery. The unique fumé effect creates subtle shadows, allowing owners to enjoy the way it skillfully plays with the light it emits.

However, this smoked salmon dial is not the first time H. Moser & Cie. has used this color. It was also featured on the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon, which the company announced in 2023. However, this 2023 model was only produced for one year. Now, with the return of the smoked salmon dial on the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar, which features a streamlined design and a classic, dressy 18K white gold case, consumers can once again choose a color that evokes the amber glow and copper highlights of this cask-aged whiskey.

The dial is finished with a griffe finish, which means "scratched" in French. The vertical satin pattern creates a subdued impression. The brand logo at 12 o'clock is applied in transparent lacquer, making the smoked salmon stand out.

The movement is the hand-wound Cal. HMC 800, which has been used in previous Endeavour Perpetual Calendars. While perpetual calendars typically feature a variety of functions on the dial, creating a sense of complexity, this model maintains a minimalist aesthetic. In addition to the central hour and minute hands, a hand indicates the month, and the movement bridge visible through the case back features a leap year display, maintaining the Endeavour style. At 9 o'clock is an indicator showing the remaining power reserve of approximately seven days.

The part placed under the H. Moser & Cie. logo is the leap year display. The movement, with its high-end finish, is also well worth seeing.

The large date display window at 3 o'clock is equipped with a "flash calendar" function that instantly changes the date at midnight. The date can be adjusted at any time throughout the day, which is surprisingly practical for a perpetual calendar.

The strap is made of dark brown alligator to match the dial, making it a perfect match for formal wear.
