Sinn has announced a new model of its simple pilot's watch, the 104 Classic 12. The 104 is a three-hand model based on the company's iconic pilot chronograph, the 103. This model shares many design elements with the limited edition 103.KLASSIK12 model released in 2021.
The "104 Classic 12" features a classic design with a small second hand. Another attractive feature is the wide variety of straps available. Automatic movement (Cal. SW261-1). 31 jewels. 28,800 vph. The sunburst-finished black dial differs from previous 104 models in that it now features a small seconds hand and does away with the day-date calendar. The three-dimensional indices also make a significant difference from the previous 104. The small seconds hand is a pale beige color, giving it a truly classic look. The words "FRANKFURT AM MAIN" have been added below the brand logo at 12 o'clock.
The bezel, which is secured by screws from the side to prevent it from coming off even when subjected to impact, is fitted with a ceramic insert with 12-hour display, just like the 103.KLASSIK12. By rotating the bezel, it is possible to easily display the time in a second time zone in combination with the hour hand.
The polished stainless steel case is 41mm in diameter and features a screw-down crown and case back, making it water resistant to 20 bar.
The movement is Sellita's Cal. SW261-1, and the blued screws and beating balance wheel can be seen through the see-through case back.
