Van Cleef & Arpels has added new items to its Zodiac Collection, medal-shaped jewelry inspired by constellations. In addition to the existing 18K yellow gold medal bracelet variations, a new 18K white gold medal will be introduced. Both lineups consist of 12 designs, each representing one of the 12 zodiac signs.

New variations added to the Constellation Medal
Van Cleef & Arpels has released 12 new 18K yellow gold bracelets and 12 new 18K white gold medals as new additions to its Zodiac Collection.

The design of the new jewelry was inspired by the gold medal that the brand released in the 1950s. The surface of the medal features reliefs of the 12 zodiac signs of Western astrology, with the image of each sign expressed with skillful craftsmanship, such as the Leo medal featuring a majestic lion and the Virgo medal featuring a woman accompanied by a unicorn.

The yellow gold bracelet features a small chain that fits comfortably on the wrist and a 16mm medal, which has been resized to be smaller than the previous model. The medal, which is positioned so that the clasp is not noticeable, functions as charm jewelry, swaying lightly with the wearer's movements.
The newly released white gold medals, like the yellow gold model, are available in a lineup of 12 zodiac signs. Each medal has a diameter of 21mm. Both medals can be paired with a 50cm short chain or a 70cm long chain, both sold separately, allowing for versatile styling to suit any outfit or occasion.

Van Cleef & Arpels and the Constellations
The roots of Van Cleef & Arpels' "constellation" theme date back to the gold medal released in the 1950s. This medal gained popularity as jewelry that brought the brand's signature "good luck," and the theme has since been passed down to a variety of items, including cufflinks and charms. Today, the brand advocates the concept of "poetic astronomy," and continues to express this philosophy in the field of watchmaking.
