A rare model exclusive to Japan, featuring refreshing coloring and leaf-shaped hour and minute hands.
NOMOS Glashütte has announced two Japan-exclusive models of the "Ludwig." The Ludwig is a simple dress watch characterized by a round dial that combines Roman numeral and line indices. The newly announced models are themed around Aoyagi, and include the two-hand "Ludwig 33 DUO AOYAGI" and the "Ludwig AOYAGI" with a small seconds dial. The former is a rare model limited to 50 pieces in Japan, and the latter is limited to 70 pieces.

The glossy white dial features blue printed indexes and a railway minute track, expressing the refreshing spirit of Aoyagi. This is further emphasized by the leaf-shaped hour and minute hands, which are different from those on the regular model. The Ludwig AOYAGI also features a recessed small seconds hand, allowing for a more three-dimensional look.

At just under 7mm thick, they can be easily slipped under a shirt cuff without getting caught. Water resistance of 5 bar is sufficient for everyday use.
The movement is a thin, hand-wound Cal.DUW4001. The striped and chamfered bridges, blued steel screws, and red artificial rubies can be seen through the see-through case back. The number indicating the limited number is engraved on the outer periphery of the case back, allowing you to enjoy the special feeling that only a limited edition model can have.
