Seiko Lukia has announced two limited edition models for its ladies' watch collection, the "Happy Collection." The straps are made of Liberty fabric, popular for its floral print, and the dial design is inspired by the floral pattern. These are the collection's first titanium models, and feature a solar-powered, radio-controlled quartz movement for practicality. Two regular models sharing the same basic design have also been announced.
Seiko Lukia adds titanium solar radio-controlled model
Seiko Lukia will add two limited edition models and two regular models to its ladies' watch collection, the "Happy Collection," featuring the first titanium case and bracelet in the collection. Both models are based on the solar-powered radio-controlled model with a tonneau-shaped case, making them highly practical and lightweight.
The two limited edition models are collaborations with the British textile brand Liberty. Liberty's popular product is a floral-printed fabric known as "Liberty Print," and each model comes with a strap featuring a Liberty print selected from the Liberty archives, with the dial inspired by this print.
Blue dial model with a "Chive Tana Lawn" motif
The blue dial model, Ref. SSQW103, is inspired by chives, a design of densely packed blue flowers. The included strap is made of Chives Tana Lawn, a silk fabric with a glossy, soft, and rich drape.
The dial of the Ref. SSQW103 is a deep navy blue, matching the base color of the Chive Tana Lawn. The original font, with rounded Arabic numerals that inflate energetically like balloons, expresses the image of "fun times expanding," in keeping with the Happy Collection. The second hand and the clover-shaped metal part at 7 o'clock are accented with yellow gold. Furthermore, the case and bracelet are finished in a bright silver tone with a platinum diamond shield.

A champagne gold model with a "Poppy and Daisy Tana Lawn" motif
The champagne gold model, Ref. SSQW104, is inspired by Liberty's best-selling "Poppy and Daisy" design. This design features poppy and daisy flowers on a white background, with subdued yellow and red flowers and green leaves.
Inspired by the vibrant colors of the "Poppy and Daisy Tana Lawn" used on the included strap, the dial of the Ref. SSQW104 is made of mother-of-pearl, which shows off its soft and varied textures. The gold-colored indexes and hands also add a touch of elegance to this watch.

The mother-of-pearl dial model Ref. SSQW100, which shares the same basic design as the limited edition model, and the all-black model Ref. SSQW101 were also announced at the same time.
The Ref. SSQW100 features a platinum diamond shield silver-colored case and bracelet paired with a champagne gold-colored bezel. The various colors created by the mother-of-pearl and the gold-colored Happy Collection Arabic numerals create a gentle color tone that blends well with the skin.

On the other hand, the Ref. SSQW101 is the first in the collection to be all black, and is paired with pink gold indexes and hands, providing a striking contrast against the black and high visibility.
