The 1969 classic is back in two-tone colors
Piaget's "Piaget Polo 79" was released in 2024, marking the 45th anniversary of the original. A new variation, the "Piaget Polo 79 Two-Tone," has been announced. This dressy new model features a two-tone exterior that combines 18K yellow gold and 18K white gold.

Power reserve: approximately 44 hours. 18K yellow gold x 18K white gold case (38mm diameter, 7.45mm thick). Water resistant to 5 bar. Price upon request.
The original Piaget Polo, launched in 1969, featured a case with an integrated bracelet, developed as a cross between a cuff watch and a swinging sautoir. It was a groundbreaking jewelry watch that was both luxurious and suitable for everyday wear. The gadroons, seamlessly flowing from the dial to the case and bracelet, were also retained in the 18K yellow gold reissued in 2024, winning the Iconic Watch Award at the Geneva Grand Prix Watchmaking (GPHG) 2024.

Following the 2025 18K white gold case model, this two-tone model embodies Piaget's philosophy that "time should be measured in gold." Discreet minute markers line the outer edge of the dial, and brushed gold dauphine-shaped hour and minute hands indicate the time. The minimalist design, with the brand logo at 12 o'clock, is appealing.

From the dial to the case and bracelet, brushed 18K white gold and polished 18K yellow gold are combined, allowing you to enjoy the contrast. The case back is set with sapphire crystal, allowing you to see the Cal. 1200P1, a thin automatic movement with a micro-rotor. The gently curved stripes and chamfers on the bridges, as well as the blued steel screws, are examples of the watch's handcrafted work.
