A rare model limited to just 12 pieces worldwide, a modern interpretation of the Sympatique
Louis Vuitton has announced the "LVDB-03 LOUIS VARIUS Project," a collaboration watch with the independent brand De Bethune. This model is a modern interpretation of the sympatique, a master clock mechanism found in 18th-century pocket watches. When placed in a special cradle, it automatically adjusts the time and winds the mainspring. Only two clock and watch sets will be produced, and 10 individual watches will be produced, each sold in a special titanium trunk.

A collaboration between Louis Vuitton and De Bethune. It features a titanium case with a blue finish achieved through thermal oxidation. Manual winding (Cal. DB2507LV). 40 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve of approximately 5 days. Ti and Pt case (45mm diameter, 14.05mm thick). Water resistant to 30m. Limited to 12 pieces worldwide (2 of which come with a clock). Price upon request.

The center of the dial features a star chart based on the Milky Way, the astronomical language that symbolizes De Bethune, with the letters “LV” subtly placed within it. The spherical moon phase on the dial is a De Bethune patented mechanism that indicates day and night in rose gold and blue steel.

The case is made of polished titanium and finished in blue using De Bethune's unique thermal oxidation process. The vibrant blue is a distinctive hue that symbolizes De Bethune. The case design is based on Louis Vuitton's signature Tambour, and the bezel, which combines sandblasting and polishing, is adorned with the 12 letters "LOUIS VUITTON." The lugs are attached separately and are made of platinum, allowing you to enjoy the contrast with the blue titanium.

The movement is a hand-wound Cal. DB2507LV, with a long power reserve of approximately five days. The uniquely designed bridges and hand-finished work by artisans can be admired through the see-through case back.
