H. Moser & Cie. has announced the new Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Ceramic, a watch that follows the iconic design of the Streamliner collection while breaking new ground with ceramic.
This new model features an anthracite gray ceramic case with an integrated bracelet and a red fumé dial made with Grand Feu enamel. Automatic movement (Cal. HMC 805). 21,600 vph. Power reserve: approximately 72 hours. Ceramic case (diameter 40mm, thickness 12.8mm). Water resistant to 12 bar. Price: 18,403,000 yen (tax included).
The minimalist dial, devoid of indexes or logo, is finished in red fumé Grand Feu enamel. Two types of enamel pigments, finely crushed and moistened, are applied in a gradient onto a hammered white gold base and then repeatedly fired to create a vibrant and mysterious dial.
The opening at 6 o'clock houses a flying tourbillon, which features a double hairspring made by Precision Engineering, a sister company of the company, to improve accuracy and isochronism.
The anthracite gray ceramic case measures 40mm in diameter and 12.8mm thick, making it an ideal size for everyday wear. Crafted from hard ceramic, it features a polished and satin finish. Its streamlined form and seamless bracelet are also distinctive features of the Streamliner. In addition to being water resistant to 12 bar, it boasts the excellent scratch resistance inherent to ceramic.
The automatic movement, Cal. HMC 805, with a power reserve of approximately three days, can be viewed through the caseback, where you can enjoy the exquisite finishes, such as the openworked rotor made of 18K red gold and the Moser double stripes on the bridges.
