Mühle Glashütte, a watch brand based in Glashütte, Germany, has unveiled four new models to commemorate its 30th anniversary of watchmaking. One of them, the "29er Big GMT," belongs to the "29er" collection, which is inspired by small regatta boats, and features a highly legible GMT function.

Launched in 2006, the "29er" collection embodies the balance required for small racing yachts. Its name is derived from the class system in yacht racing, and its combination of superior durability and timing performance represents the tough and dynamic dinghy that takes on gusts of wind and rough seas.
This commemorative model, a new addition to the collection, features a 24-hour scale on the dial flange and a GMT hand with a blue triangular tip, enabling the display of a second time zone. This GMT hand provides a clear contrast with the red-finished seconds hand, allowing for quick and easy reading of both home and local time without confusion.
This model belongs to the "Big" series within the collection and features a 42.4mm diameter case. Despite its sporty appearance with a crown guard, its thickness is kept to a minimum of 10.3mm, making it easy to slip under a shirt cuff. The strap can be selected from four options: gray, brown, blue canvas, and black leather.
The movement is a Sellita Cal.SW330-2 customized for Mühle. Thanks to its woodpecker neck fine-tuning mechanism, this movement offers both stable accuracy and excellent shock resistance, and boasts a power reserve of approximately 56 hours.
