The King Seiko "VANAC" series will feature a model with titanium used for both the case and bracelet, a first for the series. To coincide with the launch, three dial colors—purple, gray, and black—will be available, based on the King Seiko VANAC design concept of "Tokyo Horizon," to express the exhilarating feeling of speeding along Tokyo's expressways.

A King Seiko with a titanium case and bracelet has been released.
Seiko has unveiled the first titanium model in its King Seiko "VANAC" series, along with three dial variations. The King Seiko VANAC collection draws inspiration from the multi-faceted crystal and sharp case shape of the "VANAC" manufactured in the 1970s, and is based on the design concept of "Tokyo Horizon." Horizontal lines are incorporated into the dial to represent the horizon, and horizontal lines are also incorporated into the case and bracelet designs. The case is characterized by its wide, multi-faceted cuts, and has an impactful appearance with a diameter of 41mm.

Automatic movement (Cal. 8L45). 35 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 72 hours. Titanium case (41.0mm diameter, 14.3mm thickness). 10 ATM water resistance. Each watch is priced at 473,000 yen (including tax). Scheduled for release on July 10, 2026 (Friday).
The newly announced model is the first titanium model in the King Seiko VANAC series. The iconic silhouette of the King Seiko VANAC is expressed in titanium, incorporating the calm gray tones unique to titanium into the design. Extensive mirror polishing and hairline finishing on accent areas are applied. This finish gives the case a sharp, imposing presence, making it shine on the wrist with every ray of light, creating a striking design. Made from titanium, which is approximately 40% lighter than stainless steel, the watch is lightweight, resulting in a comfortable and effortless wearing experience.

The dial designs are all inspired by the highways that support Tokyo's urban functions and the sense of speed felt by vehicles traveling on them. By combining the horizontal lines that are an icon of the King Seiko VANAC with a pattern that radiates outwards from the center, the design expresses the exhilarating feeling of speeding down a highway and heading towards the vast horizon.
The dial colors are inspired by scenes seen through the driver's eyes: purple, representing the "quiet horizon at twilight"; gray, expressing the "inorganic and urban structural beauty of highways"; and black, evoking the "gale of wind as cars speed through the Tokyo night."

The movement used is the automatic winding Cal.8L45. By improving the shape and design of the mainspring to stabilize the energy output and performing rigorous precision adjustments during assembly, it achieves both a practical power reserve of approximately 72 hours and stable accuracy of +10 to -5 seconds per day.
