Ralph Lauren is world-renowned not only in the apparel industry but also as a car enthusiast. Among his extensive car collection, one iconic car has been featured in numerous media outlets: the 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupe. Like other models in the Automotive series, the Automotive Desk Clock features a distinctive wood case reminiscent of the inner panel of the Type 57SC. However, there is something even more unique about this Automotive Desk Clock that sets it apart from conventional desk clocks: it is equipped with two quartz movements. Normally, one movement would drive the three hands (hour, minute, and second). However, in order to accommodate the small seconds hand, this model uses separate movements for the hour, minute, and second hands.
