Audemars Piguet has announced that it will extend the run of its special exhibition, "House of Wonders," commemorating its 150th anniversary, until June 30, 2026. Originally scheduled to end on April 30, visitors will be able to enjoy the valuable exhibits for another two months. The venue remains easily accessible, located on Namiki Street southeast of the Audemars Piguet Ginza store.
To coincide with the extension of the exhibition period, the lineup of heritage pieces displayed in the "Design Vault" will be completely revamped. In the Design Vault, historical timepieces that are rarely seen on public display alongside the latest models. What is interesting is that these are not simply arranged chronologically, but rather based on criteria such as silhouette, design, function, color, and technology. As a result, visitors can trace the evolution and flow of time in greater depth, and the exhibition is structured in a way that allows them to experience in three dimensions how 150 years of accumulated history have led to the current collection.
The Design Safe Exhibition will feature a new exhibit themed around calendars.
The new exhibition, themed around "calendars," will showcase original pieces of calendar mechanisms, such as 17th-century pocket watches and 19th-century astronomical instruments, as well as the "Royal Oak" equipped with the Cal. 2120/2800, considered a milestone in Audemars Piguet's perpetual calendar development. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about the progress of technological innovation and the profound intricacies of calendar mechanisms through these precious timepieces.
