The Visodate is a successor to the lineage of Tissot's first models to feature a date display.

Tissot has unveiled the "Visodate," a watch that combines classic style with modern elegance. This timepiece inherits the lineage of the 1954 model, which was the brand's first to feature a date display on the dial.

Like the original model, it is designed as a highly practical model suitable for everyday use, and it is also noteworthy that it features a printed border around the date window as an homage to the original.

A design that blends classical and modern elements.

The design of the new Visodate model is not a direct reproduction of the original, but rather a fusion of classical elements with a modern sensibility. Examples of elements that create a classical feel include the domed dial, the box-shaped sapphire crystal, the slim silhouette with a 39mm case diameter, and the bracelet, which is composed of small, rice-grain-shaped links, also known as a rice bracelet.

Automatic winding (Cal. Powermatic 80). 23 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 80 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 39.00mm, thickness 10.45mm). Water resistant to 50m. Price: 185,900 yen (tax included).

On the other hand, modern design features include a silhouette where the lugs and case are integrated, a case that uses both satin and polished finishes, highly legible dolphin hands based on straight lines, and a fine seconds scale placed on the outer edge of the dial.

The movement used is also modern.

This watch is equipped with Tissot's flagship movement, the Cal. Powermatic 80. As the name suggests, its distinguishing feature is its long power reserve of approximately 80 hours, which gives it a significant advantage over other manufacturers' mechanical watches in the 10 yen price range. In addition, the Nivacron™ balance spring provides high resistance to magnetic fields and temperature changes, resulting in stable accuracy and excellent practicality.

Three variations are available.

Three variations will be available for the revival. The most classic is a model with a silver dial, gold-colored hands and indices, and a brown leather strap. In addition, variations with bracelets reminiscent of the Rice Bracelet will be available, featuring a navy blue dial and a black dial.
