Hublot has unveiled the "Spirit of Big Bang Essential Taupe," a new addition to its annual online-only "Essential" collection. Continuing the taupe color theme from the 2025 model, this timepiece will be available in two sizes, 42mm and 32mm in diameter, with only 200 pieces of each size available worldwide through the official online boutique.

The latest "Essential" collection features a sophisticated taupe color.
Hublot's "Essential" collection, launched in 2022, is a collection themed around a single model and color, and is sold exclusively through its official online boutique. Based on its flagship collections, including the "Big Bang Unico," it releases timepieces each year with a tone-on-tone appearance.
The fifth installment, a new model for 2026, is based on the "Spirit of Big Bang" with its tonneau-shaped case. The lineup includes two sizes, 42mm and 32mm in diameter, and both feature a taupe color—a shade between brown and gray—on the dial and strap.

Automatic movement (Cal.HUB4700). 36,000 vibrations/hour. Power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Titanium case (42mm diameter). 10 ATM water resistance. Limited edition of 200 pieces worldwide. 3,201,000 yen (tax included). Available exclusively at the official online boutique.

Automatic movement (Cal.HUB1120). 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve of approximately 40 hours. Stainless steel case (32mm diameter). 10 ATM water resistance. Limited edition of 200 pieces worldwide. 1,925,000 yen (tax included). Available exclusively at the official online boutique.
The 42mm diameter model features a checkerboard-patterned carbon effect dial reminiscent of the "Spirit of Big Bang Coal Blue" released in January 2026. Squares with different finishes are neatly arranged, creating a striking three-dimensional effect despite the single-tone design. The case is made of titanium and houses the Cal.HUB4700 movement, which boasts a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.

The 32mm model, on the other hand, features a stainless steel case with satin and polished finishes, paired with a taupe dial with a sunray pattern. Notably, this 32mm "Spirit of Big Bang" model is the first to omit diamond setting. This minimalist design embodies the philosophy of the "Essential" collection, which pursues purity to the extreme. The movement is the Cal.HUB1120, which boasts a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.

Furthermore, all models come with a 5-year international warranty, and registering the watch purchased through Hublot's community program, "Hublotista," grants an additional 5-year warranty. This means a total warranty of up to 10 years is offered.
