Blancpain has unveiled new models in its "Ladybird Colors Collection" that feature rare "Nacre Pearl" on the dial and a warm "Nude Mocha" alligator strap. The collection comes in two variations: one with a dial entirely made of Nacre Pearl, and another with 152 diamonds snow-set on the central disc of the dial.

Blancpain has added a warm, light brown shade called "Nude Mocha" to its "Ladybird Colors Collection." Blancpain adds a new color to its collection every year, and this new shade follows in the footsteps of colors such as Royal Purple, Lilac, and Apple Green.
Nude Mocha is a color inspired by high-quality materials that deepen in beauty with time, such as leather, cashmere, and raw wool. Following in the footsteps of natural tones reminiscent of coffee and unglazed pottery, this hue is understated yet warm, imbuing it with refined elegance.

The dials of the newly announced models utilize "Nacre Pearl," a type of mother-of-pearl of exceptional quality. Nacre Pearl is harvested from the most curved central part of the shells of carefully selected cultured oysters. Nacre Pearl accounts for less than 2% of the total usable mother-of-pearl harvested from an oyster, and only enough material for one dial, or at most two, can be obtained from a single oyster. Obtaining a disc larger than 28mm in diameter is extremely rare.
Nacre pearl possesses a delicate, rich, and deep appearance, its shimmer changing with each flash of light, revealing nuances of green and pink. Dials using this type of nacre pearl have become a signature feature of the Ladybird Colors collection.
The new model, featuring a dial made of Nacre pearl, an 18K red gold case, and a nude mocha strap, comes in two variations. One design uses Nacre pearl across the entire dial, with diamonds adorning the edge of the Nacre pearl disc in the center of the dial, as well as the bezel and lugs. The other design features 152 snow-set diamonds in the center, further enhancing its brilliance.
This timepiece, with a diameter of 34.9mm and a thickness of 10.43mm, is equipped with the Cal. 1163L automatic movement, which features a moon phase display at the 6 o'clock position. The moon phase display depicts a moon with mascara-covered eyelashes and a subtle mole, with its eyelids closed, giving it a feminine look that is a distinctive feature of this watch. With a power reserve of approximately 100 hours, it boasts excellent performance by modern standards and is a highly practical timepiece.
