TAG Heuer has unveiled the "TAG Heuer Monaco Speed 12" to coincide with the Formula 1® Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026. This model was created in collaboration with Louis Vuitton's "La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton" and features a movement with spin time, in which 12 engine pistons rotate to display the time.

TAG Heuer has unveiled the "TAG Heuer Monaco Speed 12," a watch featuring rotating indices resembling 12 pistons to display the time. This model will debut in conjunction with the Formula 1® Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026, and its design embodies the racing spirit of TAG Heuer, the official timekeeper of F1®.
The square-shaped case features a circular dial with minute markings at its center, incorporating the iconic "square in the circle" design code of the Monaco. The case is made of Grade 5 titanium with a sharp, edgy shape. The circular dial houses the Cal.TH84-00 movement, developed specifically for this model, surrounded by 12 engine piston-shaped indices. The background of the pistons is openworked, providing a visual experience akin to peering into the heart of a high-performance machine.

This model is a collaboration with Louis Vuitton's "La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton." It combines La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton's unique "Spin Time" movement with TAG Heuer's motorsport DNA, and displays the time using piston-shaped rotating indices. The minute hand is positioned in the center, and the numbers shown to the user by the pistons represent the time. When the minute hand completes one rotation, the adjacent piston rotates 90 degrees, and the numbers change accordingly. There are a total of 12 pistons, a design reminiscent of the "12 cylinders" found in high-spec sports cars and racing cars, with the 12 pistons in motion within the engine depicted in this timepiece.
These indices feature sandblasting and a satin finish, giving them details reminiscent of real engine pistons. Black lacquered Arabic numerals are then added to these indices, representing the watch's mechanism.
The watch is paired with a black rubber strap featuring a textile-like embossed finish and red hand stitching. This creates a color scheme that resonates with the red on the minute hand tip and minute scale, while also evoking the interior of a sports car. This model is limited to 50 pieces worldwide and will be delivered to the user in a special presentation box.
