FTC is a brand started in 1986 by Kent Uehara in San Francisco, one of the meccas of skateboarding. The brand name is an acronym for "Family," "Trust," and "Commitment." With skateboarding as its core, the brand also develops items that incorporate music, art, and subculture, and has established an important position not only in the skateboarding world but also as a street apparel brand. Even today, while cherishing the spirit of its founding as a street brand, it is actively involved in activities such as video, music, and art in addition to skateboarding and apparel.
The basis for this collaboration with FTC was the "SKX" series. It adopted the dial layout from Seiko's archives that was popular in the 1980s when FTC was founded, and the FTC logo is placed at the 6 o'clock position.

The Ref.HDB011J incorporates the brand colors of FTC, namely black and yellow gold. The Ref.HDB012JC, on the other hand, features a vibrant dial inspired by orange, a color beloved by the people of San Francisco, the birthplace of FTC. The bezel of this model is finished in a three-dimensional way using etching.
The case back features the FTC logo and the words "LIMITED EDITION" to indicate its limited production run. Furthermore, the Ref. HDB012JC also includes the words "40th Anniversary."

Both models come with a limited-edition box and a black nylon strap that can be easily swapped out. The box for the Ref. HDB012JC features the words "40th Anniversary" and also includes an original cleaning cloth.
These collaboration models will be available for purchase from July 10, 2026 (Friday) at Seiko Dream Square, Seiko Boutiques, the Seiko Online Store, all FTC stores in Japan, and the FTC Online Store.
