Favre-Leuba, a long-established Swiss brand founded in 1737, has announced a new series, "Deep Raider Day Date," from its flagship "Deep Raider" collection. This diver's watch features a deep gradient dial and day/date display, making it suitable for a wide range of occasions, from business to weekend activities. Four color variations will be available for the initial release.

The "Deep Raider Day Date," a new addition to the "Deep Raider" diver's watch line, is a timepiece characterized by its deep gradient dial. Available in four colors—salmon, green, blue, and burgundy—all feature an ombre effect, where the vibrant colors at the top of the dial gradually fade into a deep black towards the 6 o'clock position.
This model inherits the 30 ATM water resistance and excellent legibility common to the collection, while adding a day-date display at the 3 o'clock position on the dial. The day of the week can be set to English or German, making it a practical diver's watch that will be useful in a wide range of everyday situations, including city use.
The case boasts a slim design for a diver's watch, measuring 40.0mm in diameter and 12.5mm in thickness. The combination of satin and polished finishes creates a striking contrast in texture. Furthermore, the bezel features a ceramic insert, and the watch is equipped with a double-domed sapphire crystal, giving it a sophisticated design befitting a modern diver's watch.
Incidentally, this watch's bracelet features an easy-change mechanism, allowing you to swap it out for a different strap, such as the rubber strap from the "Deep Raider Renaissance," without using any tools.
