Chronoswiss has announced a new limited edition watch, the "Delphis Glacier," limited to 50 pieces worldwide. The "Delphis" collection, a flagship collection of the company, is a regulator watch that was born in the 1990s. As its name suggests, the newly announced Delphis Glacier features a design inspired by glaciers.

A limited-edition new model has been added to Chronoswiss's flagship "Delphis" collection. It features a glacier-inspired design. Automatic movement (Cal. C.6004). 37 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Titanium case (42mm diameter, 14.5mm thickness). 10 ATM water resistance. Limited to 50 pieces worldwide. 4,180,000 yen (including tax).

The three-dimensional dial is composed of three layers. The plate that occupies the largest part of the dial is finished with silver galvanic coating and hand-engraved guilloché, while the sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position is finished with blue CVD and also guilloché. The metallic finish expresses the quiet strength and purity of the glaciers of the Alps.

The dial features hand-engraved guilloché detailing. The hour display uses a jumping hour window, while the minute display employs a retrograde mechanism with a skeletonized hand.

In addition to its regulator style, where the hour, minute, and second hands move on separate axes, this model displays the time using different mechanisms for each hand. The hour is shown by a jumping hour display in a small window at the 12 o'clock position, the minute display is a retrograde that arcs from the 9 o'clock position through 12 o'clock to the 3 o'clock position, and the second is displayed by a small seconds subdial at the 6 o'clock position. With skeletonized hands and ceramic indices, there are plenty of details to admire.

The 42mm diameter case, composed of 17 parts, is made of lightweight and corrosion-resistant Grade 5 titanium. Its classic design is enhanced by features such as the coin-edge bezel, elongated lugs, and onion-shaped crown. With 10 ATM water resistance and a sporty rubber strap, it's suitable for a variety of occasions.
