Maurice Lacroix has unveiled the "Aikon Manual Sand Champagne," a limited-edition model with a dial color that expresses the tranquility, space, and gentle flow of time found in Japanese culture. This model was created in collaboration with Koji Nakazawa, founder of the official Maurice Lacroix watch club, "Maurice Lacroix Club Japan," and draws inspiration from the deep knowledge of vintage watches and unique aesthetic sense of Japanese watch enthusiasts. Although this model originates in Japan, it will be released worldwide and will be limited to 500 pieces.
This is the second time that an idea conceived by Maurice Lacroix Club Japan has been realized. The first was the "Aikon Manual Club Japan Edition Deep Blue," which started as a Japan-only project in 2024, but was so highly praised for its concept and quality that it was released as a limited edition model worldwide. The reason why this special project of planning a limited edition model through dialogue with the watch enthusiast community has been realized again is due not only to the appreciation for the concept and quality shown in the previous work, but also to the ongoing collaborative relationship between Maurice Lacroix and Koji Nakazawa.
A sand champagne dial incorporating Japanese values.
The most distinctive feature of this model is the newly adopted sand champagne-colored dial. Sand champagne is a muted light brown or ivory shade. This color reflects the Japanese values of tranquility, the beauty of negative space, and the gentle flow of time that have been cherished since ancient times, giving this model a chic impression. The dial is adorned with Clous de Paris decoration, one of the hallmarks of the Icon series, and the regularly spaced indentations create shadows, resulting in a nuanced appearance with varying shades.
Furthermore, continuing from its predecessor, it features an essential design with a symmetrical dial without a date display and a two-hand display without a second hand. This design is inspired by the beauty of vintage watches, which possess dignity and elegance. On the other hand, the base is a modern, elegant, and sporty Icon series, and this piece is not merely a nostalgic reinterpretation, but rather a reinterpretation of a timeless design that will continue to be loved across generations.

This model features a 39mm case diameter. While the regular model uses an automatic movement, this model is equipped with the hand-wound Cal.ML145 movement. To accommodate the rotorless movement, the case has been made thinner, resulting in a thickness of just 10mm.
Furthermore, it comes with a stainless steel bracelet crafted with highly acclaimed finishing techniques, as well as a vintage-style nubuck leather strap. Both are designed to seamlessly integrate with the case silhouette and are essential for enjoying this timepiece.
