The EDIFICE "EFK-100," Casio's first mechanical wristwatch, was released in 2025. This year, the new "EFK-200" has appeared, featuring a smaller case and a multi-faceted bezel. There are a total of five models in the lineup, one of which has a forged carbon case and dial.

In 2025, Casio released the "EFK-100" as part of its EDIFICE AUTOMATIC line. This new collection was Casio's first wristwatch to feature a mechanical movement. One year later, five new mechanical models have been released.
The EFK-200 is positioned within the EDIFICE series, which has incorporated the world of motorsport into its products, as "Speed & Intelligence—an EDIFICE mechanical series that embodies the passion of driving and the beauty of exquisite design." It features a smaller and thinner case than the EFK-100, a multi-faceted bezel, and a form in which the case and bracelet or strap connect in elegant lines.
Of the five new models released this time, the one that can be said to offer a more immersive experience of the world of motorsport is the "EFK-200XPB".

This model features forged carbon as the case and dial material, a material also used in variations of the EFK-100. Forged carbon is a composite material made by hardening carbon fibers with resin and molding it under high temperature and pressure, and has been used in high-end sports cars. Because it is strong and lightweight, and combined with the resin strap, this model weighs only 81g, making it a remarkably light timepiece. The distinctive marble pattern created during the manufacturing process of forged carbon can also be enjoyed as part of the design, which is unique to this model. Note the gold color accents that add a touch of flair to the design.
Among the stainless steel models, there are also models available with a forged carbon dial.

This piece doesn't feature any gold accents, resulting in a simple style that makes it suitable for a variety of occasions, both formal and casual.
Other stainless steel models include those with blue and red dials, as well as models with a gold color scheme. The stainless steel bracelet is newly designed; all links can be removed, allowing for adjustment to a wide range of wrist sizes.
