House of Brands, which owns Breitling, Gallet, and Universal Genève, has announced its participation in Watches & Wonders Geneva 2027. House of Brands is a brand group that was launched by current CEO Georges Kern at Dubai Watch Week in November 2025, with the concept of appealing to distinctly different customer segments, from affordable luxury to high-end. Kern positions Watches & Wonders Geneva as "a leading international platform for the watch industry," and we are already looking forward to seeing what kind of presentation they will give.

House of Brands, led by CEO Georges Kern, will make its debut at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2027.

House of Brands, comprised of Breitling, Gallet, and Universal Genève, has announced its participation in Watches & Wonders Geneva 2027. Breitling acquired Universal Genève in 2023 and Gallet in 2025. House of Brands, which brings together these three brands, was announced by Georges Kern, then CEO of Breitling, at Dubai Watch Week in November of the same year. It was conceived as a group that would occupy a wide range of positions, from accessible luxury to high-end, and Kern subsequently became CEO of House of Brands.

Georges Kern described Watches & Wonders Geneva as "a leading international platform for the watch industry," and decided to exhibit there not only to attract attention, but also as a place where each brand could freely express its own story. Furthermore, the ability to present three brands that appeal to distinctly different customer segments, from affordable luxury to high-end, not individually and in a fragmented manner, but by linking the history and positioning of each brand, is a major advantage of exhibiting as House of Brands.

About the three brands of House of Brands

Universal Geneva

Universal Geneva

Universal Genève, acquired by Breitling in 2023, unveiled a number of highly anticipated new timepieces this year.

Universal Genève, which has made a comeback in recent years, is known as "the couturier of the watchmaking world (Le Couturier de la Montre)." Its masterpieces, such as the "Polerouter" and "Compax Chronograph," continue to be cherished by enthusiasts. Within the House of Brands, Universal Genève occupies a high-end position.

Breitling

ブライトリングクロノマト

Breitling has long held a firm position in the Japanese luxury watch market. Despite being a long-established brand, it is also known as a watch brand that never stops evolving, as evidenced by the renewal of its long-selling "Chronomat" in 2026.

Breitling is positioned as a core brand within the House of Brands. With a long history of creating professional-grade instruments, it is a brand particularly skilled in chronographs. Its appeal lies in its wide range of iconic collections, including the "Navitimer" and "Chronomat," which trace their lineage to pilot watches, as well as the "Superocean" for marine sports, the "Top Time" with strong ties to motorsport, and the elegant "Premier."

Galley

Galley

Gallet, which was acquired by Breitling in 2023, the same year as Universal Genève, is a brand whose new models I eagerly await.

Gallet stopwatches are known for timing Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright's first powered flight in 1903. The brand has pursued technological innovation and patents for various applications, and has offered a wide range of pocket watches and stopwatches for different purposes. The "Flying Officer," released in 1939, was a groundbreaking waterproof chronograph wristwatch that could track multiple time zones and is known as a masterpiece that was favored by President Harry S. Truman. As part of the House of Brands, Gallet plays a role in expanding the reach of luxury into the realm of accessible luxury, and is scheduled to unveil its full collection in September 2026, with further models to be showcased at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2027.
