Chanel has launched a new limited-edition watch collection, the "CHANEL COCO GAME Capsule Collection." The lineup consists of four models: "J12," "Première," "Boyfriend," and "Code Coco," and features iconic monochrome tones infused with game-specific codes such as playing cards, dominoes, and pixel art.
"J12 COCO GAME"
Automatic movement (Cal. 12.1). 27 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve approximately 70 hours. High-resistance ceramic and stainless steel case (38mm diameter). 200m water resistance. Limited quantity. 2,167,000 yen each (tax included).
The unique "J12" features a pixelated image of Mademoiselle Chanel as the second hand, gliding across the dial. Available in matte black and white, both models are adorned with 12 brilliant-cut diamond hour markers, adding a touch of glamour to their appearance.
The highlight of the watch is the second hand, which is precisely laser-cut from a carbon plate to maintain lightness and balance, and its development took approximately 10 months. The movement is equipped with the COSC-certified Cal. 12.1, and its operation and rotor rotation can be observed through the transparent case back.
"Premiere COCO GAME"
Quartz movement. Stainless steel case (19.7mm x 15.2mm, 7.5mm thick). 30m water resistance. Limited quantity. 1,771,000 yen (tax included).
The "Première" watch features an eye-catching chain bracelet woven from white calfskin. The octagonal case, reminiscent of the bottle stopper of Chanel No. 5 perfume, is fitted with a black lacquer dial. In contrast, the charms that sway with the movement of the wrist are made of white lacquer and sapphire crystal, playfully emphasizing the "CHANEL" lettering.
"Boyfriend COCO GAME"
Quartz movement. Stainless steel case (34.6mm x 26.7mm, 7.3mm thick). 30m water resistance. Limited quantity. 1,771,000 yen (tax included).
Boyfriend presents a timepiece inspired by the Queen of Hearts in playing cards. A pure white dial features a transfer print of Mademoiselle Chanel in a tweed suit and straw hat, accented by two heart-shaped metal parts. The strap is made of white calfskin with black trimming, creating a seamless look with the watch head.
"Code COCO GAME"
Quartz movement. Stainless steel case (39.3mm x 25.0mm, 8.8mm thick). 30m water resistance. Limited quantity. 1,771,000 yen (tax included).
This "Code Coco" design incorporates elements inspired by domino pieces. The contrast in texture and color is created by the black-bordered white calfskin strap and the black-coated watch. It features a turn-lock clasp inspired by the "2.55" handbag, and one of the two halves of the dial sparkles with a princess-cut diamond.
