Hublot has announced that its limited-edition "Big Bang 20th Anniversary King Gold Ceramic" model, commemorating the 20th anniversary of its iconic "Big Bang" collection, has won the prestigious "Red Dot Design Award" for Product Design. This remarkable achievement recognizes the watch's exceptional design, technical expertise, and innovative materials and watchmaking techniques.
The Big Bang 20th Anniversary model wins the Red Dot Design Award.
Established in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award is a design award organized by the Design Center North Rhein Westfalen, based in Essen, Germany. Because product designs are rigorously judged by an international and independent panel of experts, it is known as one of the most influential design awards in the world.

King Gold is a unique gold material with a more reddish hue compared to typical 18K red gold. It offers superior workability and allows for high-quality finishing. Automatic movement (Cal. MHUB1280 Unico). 43 jewels. 28,800 vibrations/hour. Power reserve of approximately 72 hours. Black ceramic x 18K King Gold case (43mm diameter, 13.20mm thickness). 10 ATM water resistance. Limited edition of 250 pieces worldwide.
The award-winning "Big Bang 20th Anniversary King Gold Ceramic" is a commemorative model that inherits the design of the original Big Bang, which established the brand's philosophy of "Art of Fusion" (the fusion of different materials and ideas). In addition to its glamorous yet powerful look, it features the same chronograph layout as the original, a bezel with knurling on the sides, and a dial inspired by carbon fiber.

This award recognizes the brand's bold design philosophy and its superb harmony with "Unico," a movement of in-house development and manufacturing that symbolizes the brand's independence. Regarding the award, the brand's Chief Product Officer, Sadley Kaiser, commented as follows:
"Design at Hublot begins with a single mindset: challenge, refine, and reinvent. The Big Bang 20th Anniversary King Gold Ceramic embodies the discipline we have upheld for 20 years: giving meaning to every material, every line, and every movement. This award is a testament to the team that has driven this vision forward and to the collection's continued evolution without ever losing its identity. It also marks a new step for us as we move into the next chapter of the Big Bang Original, signifying its evolution into something more integrated, architectural, and essential. It demonstrates its unwavering presence as one of the most iconic collections of the 21st century."
