Timex is adding its first-ever chronograph models to the "Timex Atelier" collection, which embodies the concept of "everyday luxury." The announced models are the "Timex Atelier Chronograph Automatic M1a Ti," which features a titanium case and a mechanical movement, and the "Timex Atelier Chronograph Quartz M1q," which features a stainless steel case and a quartz movement. Both models feature the skeletonized case and three-dimensional dial that are characteristic of the "Timex Atelier" collection.

　Timex Atelier, which pursues modern design, materials, and structural beauty, is debuting its first chronograph models. The lineup includes the mechanical model "Timex Atelier Chronograph Automatic M1a Ti" and the quartz model "Timex Atelier Chronograph Quartz M1q". The designs feature eye-catching skeletonized cases, grooved rings instead of hour markers, recessed sub-dials, and scales with subtle indentations, incorporating fine details that create a sense of three-dimensionality and depth.

　The Timex Atelier collection, which debuted in January 2026, aims to embody "everyday luxury" that can be used in daily life, by presenting value not through production volume or complexity, but through the totality of design and attention to each component. At the collection's debut, the lineup included diver's models and models with GMT display functions. This model follows those and is the collection's first chronograph model.

Mechanical model "Timex Atelier Chronograph Automatic M1a Ti"

　The Timex Atelier Chronograph Automatic M1a Ti, powered by a Swiss Landeron chronograph movement, is the first in the collection to feature a titanium case. The case diameter is 42mm. The case employs the same skeletonized structure as previous models, with bold spaces extending from the lugs to the sides of the case, creating an avant-garde side view. In this model, the chronograph pushers protrude from the skeletonized sides of the case, creating a complex design. The dark color tone characteristic of titanium is also a distinctive feature of this timepiece.

　The dial has a black base with hour and minute hands and a chronograph seconds hand in the center. The 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and the small seconds at 9 o'clock are both a slightly ivory-tinged gray, creating a two-tone design. A satin-finished, metallic-textured ring is placed around the outer edge of the dial, with grooves carved into it to serve as hour markers. The ring is beveled, and the difference in texture and three-dimensionality add character to this timepiece.

　The bezel features a tachymeter, adding an iconic chronograph detail while enhancing functionality. The movement can be admired through the case back, allowing you to enjoy the chronograph mechanism as it operates in response to your movements.

　The mechanical model is available with a titanium bracelet, as well as with an NBR rubber strap featuring a fabric-like texture.

The quartz model "Timex Atelier Chronograph Quartz M1q"

　The Timex Atelier Chronograph Quartz M1q, equipped with a Swiss-made quartz chronograph movement, uses the same case structure as the mechanical model, but this one has a stainless steel case, which has a brighter tone than titanium and gives it a more modern impression. This model has a case diameter of 40mm.

　The black dial features a small seconds subdial at 3 o'clock and a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, both slightly offset towards the 12 o'clock position. A date display is located at 6 o'clock. The black base is adorned with a delicate guilloché pattern, creating depth and texture depending on the light.

　The quartz model is also available with either a stainless steel bracelet or an NBR rubber strap with a tile-like texture.
