Luminox has announced a new model, the "Navy SEAL 3500 “SEMPER-FORTIS”." This latest model in the "Navy SEAL" collection, which uses only CARBONOX® material, will be sold in a limited edition of only 775 pieces worldwide. The number 775 pays homage to 1775, the year the U.S. Navy was founded. The model name, "Semper Fortis," is Latin for "Ever Strong." The design and functionality express the perseverance, discipline, and quiet determination embodied in this word, which symbolizes the spirit of the U.S. Navy.
This limited-edition model is named after the Latin phrase "Semper Fortis," meaning "Ever Strong." It features a CARBONOX® case and a quartz movement. The CARBONOX® case measures 45mm in diameter and 14mm in thickness. It is water-resistant to 200 meters and is limited to 775 pieces worldwide. Price: ¥107,800 (including tax).
The black dial features the words "SEMPER-FORTIS" coated with Super-LumiNova from the 8 o'clock to the 11 o'clock position, with the English translation, "EVER STRONG," written in red inside. In daylight, the English text provides a nice accent, but in the dark, the Latin phrase becomes visible, making the indomitable spirit that the Navy SEAL symbolizes even more striking. The base model is the "Navy SEAL 3500" with a 45mm diameter case. The exterior, from the turtle-shaped case and unidirectional rotating bezel to the bracelet, is made entirely of CARBONOX® material, achieving lightness, high durability, and comfortable wear. It also boasts Luminox's signature tough specifications, such as Luminox Light Technology (LLT), which continues to glow for up to 25 years.
