Chronoswiss has unveiled the "Small Seconds Serpentine" and "Small Seconds Jasper." These new models are the company's first to feature natural stone dials, allowing users to enjoy the unique variations in appearance that only natural materials can offer.
Two models featuring natural stone dials, each limited to 50 pieces worldwide, are now available.
Chronoswiss has announced two new models in its "Small Seconds" collection: the "Small Seconds Serpentine" and the "Small Seconds Jasper." For the company, which champions the concept of "modern mechanical," this marks its first attempt at using natural stones on the dials. The different origins of the natural stones represent the history of the company, which was founded in Munich, Germany, and is now headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland.
Founded in 1983 by watchmaker Gerd R. Lang, Chronoswiss has continued to manufacture watches based on the belief that "mechanical watches have a future, especially in a world increasingly dominated by electronics." With this new model, they have focused not on human hands, but on natural stones shaped by the vast expanse of "time" itself, fusing millions of years of geological history with the company's more than 40 years of watchmaking history into a single timepiece.
The Small Seconds Serpentine uses Swiss serpentine (serpentine) mined in the region surrounding Zermatt and the Matterhorn. The deep green serpentine, which was once part of the seabed, reveals an intricate pattern reminiscent of snakeskin, as its name suggests. The combination case, which combines stainless steel and 18K red gold, accentuates its vibrant green color.

The Small Seconds Jasper uses German jasper, a stone chosen to commemorate the brand's birthplace. The intricate patterns of beige, brown, and ivory evoke deserts and ancient geological formations. The case is made of stainless steel, highlighting the understated elegance of the natural stone. Because it is a natural stone, the patterns, textures, and colors vary from piece to piece, and both models are limited to just 50 pieces worldwide.
The "Small Second Jasper" features German-made jasper. The hand-guilloché detail on the small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock is also noteworthy. Automatic movement (Cal. The small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock is hand-guillochéd, and inside is the in-house developed automatic movement Cal. C.6000 with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours.
