The Speedmaster 38 is a Speedmaster that enhances everyday usability with its small 38mm diameter case, which can be worn by anyone regardless of gender, and its automatic movement. A new variation with refined details has been added to this collection.

A notable aspect of this update is the incorporation of design elements reminiscent of the classic Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional. In particular, the sub-dials have been changed from oval to round, giving the watch a sportier yet more refined look. Furthermore, the minimal printing on the dial contributes to a cleaner overall impression.

The bezel has also been changed from the previous knurled, flat shape to a more classic and thicker style. The tachymeter retains the iconic "dot over 90 (DON)" design, giving it a look that is both reminiscent of the Speedmaster's heritage and strikingly modern.

A total of seven variations are available. Among them, the black dial model is the one that most strongly inherits the design of the Moonwatch. It features a black aluminum bezel and a lacquered dial in the same color, and is the only one in this series to feature a non-date function. Other unique models include a combination model with an 18K gold bezel and an aluminum bezel insert, and a mother-of-pearl dial model with a bezel adorned with a total of 1.53 carats of diamonds.

The movement is Cal.3330 in the six models with a date display, while the black dial model without a date display (like the Moonwatch) is equipped with Cal.3332, allowing for different movements depending on usage. Combined with 10 ATM water resistance, its practicality for a wide range of everyday situations is also a major attraction.
