Armabianca, a company that handles collaboration goods for anime and other media, has begun accepting orders for the "D.Gray-man x Seiko Collaboration Watch Allen Walker Model," a collaboration model between the manga "D.Gray-man" and Seiko, on its online shopping site "AMNIBUS." The model incorporates various designs related to the work, including the "Clown Clown" that symbolizes the protagonist Allen Walker, as well as pentacles and crosses.
D.Gray-man is a dark fantasy manga series by Katsura Hoshino, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2004 and is currently serialized in Jump SQ.RISE. Set in a fictional late 19th century, it depicts the battle between the Noah family, led by the Millennium Earl who aims to end the world, and the exorcists who confront the evil weapons called AKUMA that they create. It was adapted into a TV anime in 2006, and D.Gray-man HALLOW was broadcast in 2016.
The protagonist, Allen Walker, is one of the exorcists who uses the parasitic Innocence, God's Clown, as a weapon against Akuma. This collaboration model features a black dial adorned with details such as a golden mask and wings reminiscent of God's Clown.
At the 12 o'clock position, a pentacle above Allen's left eye is represented by a three-dimensional silver-colored part, and at the 6 o'clock position, the cross on the back of his left hand is featured. The dial also features a grid pattern that changes its appearance depending on the viewing angle, further highlighting the motifs. The combination of a thin, classic gold-colored case and a leather strap gives it an elegant finish, reminiscent of a dress watch.
The case back and special box also express the world of the work.
The case back features an illustration of Allen's reliable companion, Timcampy, and is accompanied by the English translation of "Don't stop, keep walking," which symbolizes Allen's journey. The special box for this product also features the "D.Gray-man" title logo on the top, and the inside is specially designed with Allen's symbolic motifs and name embossed in gold foil.
