French watch brand Baltic has announced a new hand-wound chronograph, the "Scalegraph." This model, which has been highly popular as a limited edition, now features a revamped case design and specifications and will be added to the regular collection.

French watch brand Baltic has unveiled a new model of its hand-wound chronograph watch, the "Scalegraph." Unlike previous models, which were released in limited quantities, this new model will become a permanent part of Baltic's collection.
Baltic is a brand that Etienne Malec officially launched in 2017 after a crowdfunding campaign. It has attracted considerable attention since its inception, selling 1300 units immediately after the project began, and a limited edition of 200 watches released the following month selling out in just 45 minutes. The lineup consists entirely of timepieces with a vintage feel, designed with inspiration from the vast collection left behind by Malec's father, an antique watch collector.

In particular, the Scalegraph is a hand-wound chronograph watch with a look reminiscent of the golden age of motorsport in the 1960s. The new model joining the regular lineup retains the classic design but features a completely redesigned case. While maintaining the 39.5mm case diameter, the shape of the lugs and the surface finish have been modified to give it a sharper and sportier impression. In addition, it now features a screw-down crown and boasts a high water resistance of 100m.
The variations come in three colors, each showcasing a different look. The "Champagne" model features a metallic texture that gives it the warmth and elegance characteristic of vintage chronographs. The "Blue" model boasts a rich expression thanks to its glossy finish. The "Gray" model features a calm metallic gray with accent colors, resulting in a modern and urban look.
The movement is the Sellita Cal.SW510-M. It boasts a power reserve of approximately 63 hours and offers high reliability and ease of maintenance. Furthermore, because it is a hand-wound watch where the mainspring is wound manually, it will further satisfy the desire to own a wristwatch.
All models were initially available for pre-sale at HMS Watch Store's Omotesando, Nagoya, and Osaka locations starting August 15th (Saturday), and then became available for general sale on their official online store from August 17th (Monday).
