The emerald cut was the favorite cut of founder Harry Winston. The case design, which creatively and contemporaryly reflects the silhouette of the emerald, which is also used in the brand's logo, is reminiscent of the Art Deco style. Founder Harry Winston opened his eponymous salon in 1932. One of his legacy is bringing out the inherent beauty and value of precious gemstones by re-cutting and setting the precious estate jewelry he acquired with his discerning eye. Of the countless gemstones he acquired, he became fascinated with the emerald cut, which he saw as the most elegant and brings out the individuality of the stone.
