For A. Lange & Söhne's boutique, A. Lange & Söhne Ginza, 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of its opening. The Lange 1 Daymatic Ginza Boutique 10th Anniversary Limited Edition, which will be available exclusively at the boutique from Friday, February 23rd, is a model commemorating this milestone year.
In order to create this limited edition model, A. Lange & Söhne Ginza submitted various requests to the German headquarters two years ago. One of these requests is the use of the model's theme color, blue, throughout, including the alligator strap, the "A. LANGE & SÖHNE" logo on the dial, and the numerals on the oversized date. Furthermore, this model is the only one in the "Lange 1 Daymatic" series to feature blue steel hands.
However, its greatest feature is undoubtedly the guilloché. In the Lange 1 Daymatic lineup, the only model with guilloché engraving on the entire dial, not just the subdials, is the Lange 1 Daymatic Ginza Boutique 10th Anniversary Limited Edition. While the regular Lange 1 Daymatic dial is silver, this model uses 18K white gold, which is harder than silver, resulting in sharper edges for the guilloché engraving, creating a more refined look. This is truly a watch worthy of being an anniversary model.
