2018.04.09

Seiko will be releasing a sophisticated and lightweight men's dress watch for urban men from the popular Lineal Lux design series of the luxury watch brand Credor. To coincide with the launch of the men's model, a gorgeous limited edition model featuring baguette diamond indexes will be released in limited quantities of 80 pieces, priced at 1 million yen (excluding tax). The regular model will be priced between 300,000 and 800,000 yen (excluding tax), and all models will be available at Credor retailers nationwide from Friday, May 11, 2018.

Credor was born in 1974 as a series of high-end dress watches with rich individuality, embodied in Japanese sensibilities and exquisite craftsmanship. As its name, which means "crète d'or" (top of gold) in French, embodies, from the movement to each and every small part, the watch is made using carefully selected materials and the techniques of master craftsmen, preserving its beauty and quality.

A men's model has been added to the Credor "Lineal Lux" series, released in 2016. The design concept of this model expresses the strength, solidity, and sharpness of "ice." The case is an octagonal shape with a flared shape. Inspired by ice melting in water, the case blends softness with sharp edges, smoothly connecting with the series' distinctive lugs (the joints between the case and band), creating a clean impression. Furthermore, the highly challenging craftsmanship, such as the beveled bezel and the octagonal seams on the case sides, was achieved through meticulous Zaratsu polishing by artisans. This limited edition model, inspired by single malt whiskey, is a luxurious model with a brown dial and baguette diamonds reminiscent of ice in a glass.
