The watch features a unique technology that uses solar-powered Eco-Drive technology to simultaneously display the analog time and a depth gauge with hands, as well as a design that ensures high visibility of the dial and hands. While its design is a full-fledged sports watch that offers functionality, durability, and safety, it is also designed to be enjoyed as a casual everyday watch, and the urethane band model (BN2036-14E) comes with an extension band that can be worn over a wetsuit. The band can be adjusted to suit the occasion, such as wearing it as is for everyday use or attaching the extension band when diving. The metal band model (BN2031-85E) also features a ratchet-equipped double-holding buckle that can be stretched and adjusted to fit the watch's length.
The watch's Eco-Drive movement, powered by solar energy, eliminates the need for periodic battery changes. It operates without stopping as long as it receives light. Its safety-conscious design includes features like a charge level indicator, a sudden ascent warning alarm, a water sensor, a screw-down crown, screw-down buttons, and a unidirectional rotating bezel. The time and depth indicators feature different luminous colors for easy identification underwater. The depth gauge's widely spaced scale up to 40 meters makes it easy to read, and this design allows you to experience the dynamic movement of the depth hand, even during recreational diving.
