This limited edition model is powered by the Cal. 1861, a movement deeply rooted in the history of the Moonwatch.
All three subdials are black, as are the minute track and polished ceramic bezel with a white enamel pulsometer scale. The strap is black perforated leather with a white rubber interior. A distinctive feature of this model is the pulsometer scale on the bezel rather than a tachymeter. The pulsometer scale, which measures the number of heartbeats per minute, is a function particularly associated with the CK2998. The original CK2998 offered four different measurement bezels to choose from: tachymeter, pulsometer, decimal meter, and telemeter. Following this tradition, this model features a pulsometer. The case back is engraved with the limited edition number and features the original Seahorse emblem and the word "SPEEDMASTER." This is sure to be one of the most sought-after new releases of 2018.
