The Japan Watch Importers Association, a general incorporated association that manages the CWC, has begun accepting applications for the 8th CWC and 3rd Advanced CWC exams.
The Watch Coordinator (CWC) is a qualification test aimed at acquiring appropriate knowledge about watches. The CWC test was established in 2012, and 2017 people have passed it. The Advanced CWC test was established five years later, and 150 people have passed it.
We hope that not only those aspiring to become watch sales specialists, but also many watch enthusiasts will enjoy acquiring a wide range of knowledge about watches. Both the CWC and Advanced CWC exams will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at two locations in Tokyo and Osaka. Textbooks can be ordered from bookstores and national publication sales cooperatives nationwide, as well as the Japan Watch Importers Association (JWIA)-CWC Secretariat.
・Exam date and time: Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (2 hours)
Venue: (Tokyo) Japan Educational Center Hitotsubashi Hall/Conference Room
(Osaka) Tenma Training Center
・Scope of questions: The written test is a multiple choice test using a mark sheet, and the questions are more extensive than those in the CWC textbook.
How to apply: Transfer via post office using the special payment slip included in the Watch Coordinator textbook.

・Exam fee: CWC 7000 yen, Advanced CWC all-in-one exam 9000 yen, Advanced CWC split exam 5000 yen
