The NH TYPE 1B, developed, manufactured and sold by NH WATCH, is a watch that combines a design inspired by vintage watches with a modern case size of 37mm in diameter and practicality.
Another feature of the watch is the use of materials that are difficult to process, such as the nickel silver dial and 904L stainless steel case and buckle. These materials were made possible through collaboration with Roku Roku Sangyo Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of ultra-high precision micromachining machines. The use of 904L stainless steel, which is particularly difficult to process, would not have been possible without the company's micron-level precision cutting technology.
The hand-wound movement is based on the ETA 7750. However, the chronograph and automatic winding mechanism have been removed and a new push-button has been added, improving the winding feel and showcasing the unique ingenuity of NH WATCH.
The bead-blasted nickel silver dial is intentionally left uncoated to allow the material to age beautifully. The Breguet Arabic numerals are all hand-carved by skilled artisans. A synthetic lacquer (cashew) is poured into the dial to enhance the three-dimensional effect. The brand logo and scale are engraved using the ultra-high-precision micromachining machine mentioned above. The steel hands are machined in three dimensions and then blued, with the minute hand even bent to fit the minute scale.
