Founded in Fleurier, Switzerland in 1822, Bovet is a watch brand with a history spanning nearly 200 years. The 18K gold luxury pocket watches created by founder Edouard Bovet were immensely popular with the Qing Dynasty emperors and aristocrats in the 19th century for their beautiful enamel and pearl decorations, and made a significant contribution to the development of Fleurier's industry at the time. Today, the brand continues to carry on these design elements in its wristwatches, and boasts a rarity of artistic timepieces, with the Maison producing fewer than 2000 pieces per year, utilizing highly advanced traditional techniques and skills such as Fleurisan decoration and miniature painting by skilled artisans.

The unique grand complication is the true essence of the new Bovet

In 2006, the current owner, Pascal Raffy, vertically integrated the movement and dial workshops, establishing the company as a manufacture. Since then, the company has continued to evolve, utilizing its outstanding technical capabilities to develop unique movements, introducing a system that allows watches to be enjoyed in multiple styles, such as pocket watches or table clocks, by detaching the strap, and obtaining patents for its unique timepieces, including tourbillons and time displays that can be enjoyed on both the front and back.
