In 2019, Cuervo y Sobrinos awarded the Latino Award to Cuban-born ballet dancer Carlos Acosta at a ceremony held at the Iberostar Gran Packard Hotel in Havana, attended by distinguished guests such as the Swiss Ambassador, the Acosta Danza Ballet Company, and Eusebio Leal, historian and restorer of the city of Havana.

The secondary prize is "Prominente Tocororo" (Prominente Tocororo).

The prize winner received the limited edition "Prominente Tocororo" from Cuervo y Sobrinos, a patriotic model featuring the Cuban national bird, the Tocororo. Carlos Acosta's choreography and his first performance as a star were both part of a dance theater piece called "Tocororo," so the two are a perfect match. The dial features the logo of Acosta's dance company. Of course, the box can also be used as a cigar case.
