In November 2019, Richard Mille opened its fourth boutique in Japan, following stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kobe, in the city of Hakata, in the heart of Fukuoka.

A distinctive space that makes use of curves and light
The new boutique has been designed by the Richard Mille art direction team as a curved, light-filled space, just like the brand's boutiques around the world. Each booth and exhibition area has been carefully designed, with colors and materials carefully selected to suit each area. With light streaming in through the large windows, visitors can enjoy the comfort of wearing a Richard Mille watch.
The store also has a watchmaker's room where technical support is available. It's also great that they are available to discuss maintenance and other matters. Since its arrival on the watch industry in 2001, Richard Mille has been making rapid progress. Much of the media talks about its price, unconventional concept, and meticulously thought-out shock resistance. However, when you actually wear one, you'll notice how light it is, something you wouldn't expect for a complication watch. The moment I put it on my wrist for the first time, I couldn't help but be amazed at how light it was. The easiest way to understand this weight is to feel it directly on your wrist.
