The new Max Bill models, themed around a black and white contrast, will be available in chronoscope, automatic, and quartz models. The wide variety of options allows for a wide selection to suit your needs and preferences. The automatic models are available in 38mm and 34mm case sizes. Both are 10mm thick. The stainless steel is treated with a matte anthracite PVD finish for excellent scratch resistance. The dial features a matte white finish with Super-LumiNova. The matte black hands are also treated with Super-LumiNova. Combining functionality and design, this model is suitable for both men and women. It's easy to wear every day. The strap is made of soft gray calf leather. The buckle is PVD-coated like the case. The quartz model is priced at 96,000 yen (excluding tax).
The chronoscope model is equipped with the automatic movement J880.2. The dial features a 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, but the overall design is clean. The strap is the same for all models.

What is Bauhaus in the first place?
Some people may have heard of the Bauhaus, but may not actually know much about it. Founded in 1919 in Weimar, Germany during the Weimar Republic, the Bauhaus was an educational institution that offered comprehensive education in art and architecture, including crafts, photography, and design. It can also refer to the rationalist and functionalist art that followed. It is renowned as the educational institution that laid the foundations for modernism. Bauhaus, meaning "house of architecture" in German, is a modernized version of Bauhütte (architectural hut). Its name was coined by Walter Gropius, one of the four great masters of modern architecture (the others being Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Mies van der Rohe). He served as the Bauhaus's principal from its founding in 1919 until 1928. Max Bill also graduated from the Bauhaus, and Junghans's designs are steeped in Bauhaus influences.
