Meistersinger's new "Astroscope" has a mysterious day display. The two models being released this time both have a dark dial that represents the night sky, with astronomical symbols displayed in blue or light beige "Old Radium" on the dial. How do you read this unique dial that you will never forget once you see it?

Automatic winding (Cal. SW220). 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 38 hours. Stainless steel (diameter 40mm). Water resistant to 5 bar. 260,000 yen (excluding tax).
A mysterious dial that makes you feel like you're looking up at the sky
There is a small circular date window at the 6 o'clock position, and above the "MEISTER SINGER" logo is a cut reminiscent of the horizon. It is a romantic design that seems to connect to the sky beyond the horizon. What catches your eye are the seven astronomical symbols placed in the center of the dial. The bold dial, with its line of symbols that are also associated with Western astrology, makes you want to touch it in person.
This isn't Meistersinger's first astronomical-themed watch: it's the second model since the Lunascope, released in 2018, which featured a large moon phase display that took up almost the entire top of the dial.
The letters that represent each day of the week are as follows:
Monday, the Moon ☽
Tuesday, Mars
Wednesday, Mercury ☿
Thursday, Jupiter ♃
Friday, Venus ♀
Saturday, Saturn ♄
Sunday, the Sun ☉
An original single-hand watch
Founded in 2001 by Manfred Brassler in Münster, Germany, Meistersinger is known for exclusively manufacturing and selling single-hand watches. This is because Brassler drew design inspiration from medieval tower clocks and ancient sundials. Initially, the company only used movements manufactured by other companies, but is now also focusing on developing its own movements.
The design, which is stripped of all unnecessary elements while still highlighting its individuality, is largely due to the single-hand design. It's a watch that you'll even come to love, even if it takes a little time to read the time quickly. By the time you've learned to read the time smoothly, starting from the 30th minute, this watch will have become your perfect companion.
