Parmigiani Fleurier will release the Tonda 1950 Double Rainbow Flying Tourbillon. This model features a dial shining with colored stones, aventurine, and diamonds, representing a double rainbow, a symbol of good fortune, and an ultra-thin movement with a flying tourbillon mechanism.

Last year, Parmigiani Fleurier released the Tonda 1950 Rainbow, a ladies' model with a bezel paved with colorful baguette-cut precious stones. This year, the company has further evolved this model, releasing the Tonda 1950 Double Rainbow Flying Tourbillon, which is equipped with a flying tourbillon.
The 18K rose gold case with distinctive lugs and the bezel set with 40 precious and semi-precious stones in rainbow colors are inherited from last year's model. In addition, the dial is paved with 572 diamonds, with a moon-shaped aventurine floating among them.
The colored stones set around the moon create a second rainbow, which the model's name refers to. The double rainbow is a phenomenon in which light reflects twice in water droplets, creating two rainbows simultaneously, a primary and secondary rainbow, and is sometimes said to be a symbol of good fortune.
The movement is the Cal. PF517, boasting a thickness of just 3.4mm despite being equipped with an automatic winding mechanism and a flying tourbillon. The movement can be viewed from the case back, where you can admire the Côtes de Genève on the bridge. The micro-rotor, which also contributes to the watch's slimness, is also meticulously decorated.
