Two new strap models will be added to the Aikon Automatic 35mm, a ladies' model based on Maurice Lacroix's popular Aikon Automatic series, housed in a 35mm case. The watch is scheduled for release in October.

The latest in the Icon Automatic range
A new addition has been made to the Aicon Automatic 35mm, the first mechanical ladies' watch from Maurice Lacroix's popular Aicon series, which was released in November 2019. Previously, the watch was only available in bracelet form, but the addition of a strap version softens the otherwise solid image a bit.

Automatic movement (Cal. ML115). 26 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 38 hours. Stainless steel (diameter 35mm). Water resistant to 20 bar. Price: 190,000 yen (excluding tax). Released in October 2020.
The watch comes in two colors: blue and black. The blue features a sun-brushed Clous de Paris decoration with eight diamonds, while the black features black mother-of-pearl with eight diamonds. This means you can choose between an edgy blue or a chic and elegant black, depending on your preference. The release date is scheduled for October 2020, just as summer comes to an end, marking the season when you can enjoy your watch strap without any worries.
In recent years, the Icon series from Maurice Lacroix has become increasingly popular among men. Its affordable price range and bold design have been well-received. The Icon was first released in 16, and it was introduced as a reissue of Maurice Lacroix's popular Calypso model. Since the Calypso was released in 1990, tracing the history of the Icon, it can be said that the foundations for its creation were laid 30 years ago.

Originally, Icon's women's models were limited to those equipped with quartz movements, but the growing demand from women for mechanical models led to the birth of a long-awaited mechanical women's watch. For women considering a mechanical watch, the wide range of strap and bracelet options is sure to be a welcome development. Women often see watches as an integral part of their fashion, so whether they choose a strap or bracelet is a more important consideration than men when choosing a watch.

Automatic movement (Cal. ML115). 26 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 38 hours. Stainless steel (diameter 35mm). Water resistant to 20 bar. Price: 190,000 yen (excluding tax). Released in October 2020.
The Icon Automatic's sporty case design contrasts with its elegant dial, making it suitable for any occasion. Its movement is the automatic Cal. ML115. It features a center second hand with the second hand on the same axis as the hour and minute hands, a date display at 3 o'clock, and a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Considering all these factors, this price range is pleasantly surprising.
