Girard-Perregaux has unveiled a new version of the Quasar, the Quasar Azure, with an azure blue sapphire crystal that recalls the manufacture's first bridges timepiece, created in 1867. This new model is limited to eight pieces, highlighting its rarity.

Named after the shining celestial body, the Quasar's azur blue case is carved from a single sapphire disc. The sapphire crystal box ensures ultimate transparency, allowing visitors to admire the tourbillon carriage, which appears to float in mid-air.
