A full-fledged diver's watch has been added to the Polaris line: the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Date and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Memovox.

Two new models have been added to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris collection, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Memovox and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Date, which carry on the tradition of the company's diver's watches.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Date, featuring an iconic design

　The "Polaris" series, which joined Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2017, is a collection based on the design of the former "Memovox Polaris." The original Memovox Polaris featured a "Voice of Memory" function, originally designed to tell divers when it was time to come out of the water.

　The new models that carry on the lineage of this diver's watch into the modern era are the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Date and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Memovox.

　The Polaris Mariner Memovox and Polaris Mariner Date both have 42mm cases. The case design, featuring a dynamic combination of brushed and polished finishes, is a key design code of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris.

　Both models are also water resistant to 30 bar as diver's watches. Furthermore, the screw-down crown has an orange security band that is visible when it is not screwed down completely. This is a thoughtful touch to prevent accidents such as forgetting to screw down the crown and entering the water.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Memovox, a true musical force

　Since the first minute repeater was created in 1870, Jaeger-LeCoultre has developed over 200 chiming movements, of which 100 were interestingly produced before 1900.

　The latest alarm watch from Jaeger-LeCoultre, a prestigious manufacturer of alarm clocks, is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Memovox.

　The watch still uses the Cal. 956 movement with alarm function, which was released in 2008, but it has been completely redesigned by the manufacture's engineers. The biggest change is that the peripheral gongs are 15% thinner than before.

　Previous Memovox watches had a closed case back with a wire-operated gong attached to it, but the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner has succeeded in creating a transparent case back by attaching the gong to the case itself, allowing the movement of the hammer to be viewed.
