To commemorate the 20th anniversary of CAMPANOLA, a watch brand designed to help you enjoy time, Citizen will release two models from its mechanical collection in late November 2020: the limited edition model "Ayamekin" (80 pieces) and the regular model "Kasanekyo."

The dial features the techniques of Tetsuo Gido, a recipient of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Rosette.
Beautiful lacquered lettering board "Ayamekin"

Automatic (Cal. Y513). 25 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 42 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 42mm / thickness 14mm). Water resistant for everyday use. Limited to 80 pieces. 95 yen (excluding tax)
"Hyo-me-gane" is characterized by its beautiful lacquer lettering, which is an adaptation of the traditional technique known as "kinmushi-kuinuri." First, rapeseed is spread over the lettering before it dries after being coated with lacquer, and then the seeds are removed. Gold powder is sprinkled on the uneven surface created by the removal of the seeds, and then another coat of lacquer is applied and allowed to dry. Finally, the unique hyo pattern is revealed by polishing it. Gold powder is also sprinkled on the inside cover ring, which is made by applying multiple layers of lacquer.
"Kasanekyou" - a kaleidoscope-like piece of mother-of-pearl inlay

Automatic (Cal. Y513). 25 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 42 hours. Stainless steel case (diameter 42mm / thickness 14mm). Water resistant for everyday use. 90 yen (excluding tax)
"Halo" uses dark blue lacquer, which is synonymous with Mr. Ido's work, on the lettering and inside ring. Furthermore, by arranging mother-of-pearl inlay work like a mosaic, it expresses the various shapes seen through a kaleidoscope, superimposed on life.
Both models are equipped with an automatic mechanical movement from La Joux-Perret SA, a subsidiary of Citizen. Combining traditional Swiss mechanical watchmaking techniques with the traditional Japanese craft of Aizu lacquer, these are special watches worthy of celebrating the 20th anniversary.
