To celebrate its 160th anniversary, TAG Heuer has been releasing limited editions of its iconic TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph collection throughout the year. The brand is now releasing the third and final TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph 160th Anniversary Limited Edition. Available in blue and white dials, each model is equipped with the in-house Heuer 02 movement. Each is limited to 1860 pieces.
The most distinctive feature is the date window at 12 o'clock.
Automatic (Cal. Heuer 02). 33 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 80 hours. Stainless steel case (39mm diameter). 100m water resistant. 640,000 yen (excluding tax).
The TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph 160th Anniversary Special Edition is inspired by the classic Heuer Carrera "DATO 45," the first TAG Heuer wristwatch chronograph with a rotating date disc, introduced in 1965. Like that model, this special edition also features a date display at the 12 o'clock position on the dial. To match the red date, the central chronograph seconds hand is also finished with red lacquer, and the counter at 3 o'clock is also accented with a red movement.

The blue dial model features a 44mm stainless steel case with polished and finely satin-finished finishes and a blue ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale. The blue circular satin-finished dial features contrasting white azure-finished subdials at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, indicating the passage of minutes and hours, respectively. A blue opaline permanent seconds counter is located at 6 o'clock.

The white dial model also features a 44mm stainless steel case with polished and finely satin-finished finishes, but the bezel with a tachymeter scale is made of black ceramic, creating a striking contrast with the silvery opalescent dial. A white opalescent permanent seconds counter is located at 6 o'clock.
The Caliber Heuer 02, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, powers these models and boasts a power reserve of approximately 80 hours. Furthermore, a vertical clutch improves the precision of the start-stop function and the chronograph seconds hand, eliminating jumps when using the chronograph functions. The use of a column wheel ensures precise operation of the chronograph, which is immediately apparent when pressing the pusher.
