NOMOS Glashütte celebrates 175 years of Glashütte watchmaking with the introduction of limited editions of its stainless steel luxury precision timepiece, the Lambda, in white, black, and blue enamel. New stainless steel cases, new sizes, white, black, and blue enamel dials, and movements adjusted to chronometer standards—three new timepieces celebrating 175 years of Glashütte watchmaking. Limited to 175 pieces per color, these exceptional models are crafted using traditional techniques in this historic town.

　The dial has an enamel-like luster that gives it a special depth, an effect that is further enhanced by the curved dial and sapphire crystal glass. The meticulously polished steel case makes it a precision luxury watch that can also be used daily. The name "Lambda" comes from the mathematical term "intrinsic value," which means unchanging value.

　The large yet slender twin-barrel calibre is powered by 29 rubies, six of which are set in hand-polished screw-set chatons in the traditional Glashütte style. All components have hand-polished edges and the steel parts are individually mirror-polished.

　The meticulously polished three-quarter plate is a beauty that immediately catches the eye. The screw balance (balance with a regulating screw) and the regulator with a swan-neck regulator are made using classic techniques. The spring of the swan-neck regulator is set on top of the balance cock and is engraved with the words "From Glashütte with Love" in German, hand-engraved by a veteran watchmaker. This is one of the rich heritages of this city.
