　The movement installed in this model is the Spring Drive "Caliber 9R02" made by the luxury watch specialist "Micro Artist Studio" (*1), which has a power reserve of approximately 84 hours thanks to the combination of a "Dual Spring Barrel" (*2) and a "Torque Return System" (*3). The movement bridge is fitted with an 18K yellow gold badge engraved with "Micro Artist," and owners can change this plate to one engraved with their desired words.

　The movement is the mechanical hand-wound caliber 9S64. Caliber 9S uses Seiko's proprietary, highly durable material "Sprong" for the mainspring and hairspring. The escapement also uses high-precision, highly surface-smooth components manufactured using MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems).

Micro Artist Studio is one of the main workshops that make up the Shinshu Toki no Takumi Studio, and was established within the Seiko Epson Corporation Shiojiri Plant in 2000 with the aim of passing on watchmaking skills. Currently, the studio employs "Contemporary Master Craftsmen," including gold medalists at the World Skills Competition and recipients of the Medal with Yellow Ribbon, who utilize their advanced techniques and skills to create complicated timepieces.

Seiko's unique technology that extends the duration of a watch by stacking two long, thin mainsprings in parallel on one barrel.
(※3) Torque return system
This ingenious mechanism maximizes the high-torque characteristics of Spring Drive, effectively utilizing limited energy to extend the watch's running time. The Caliber 9R02 uses the energy of the mainspring to wind itself for approximately 48 hours after being fully wound, which generates high torque. As a result, combined with the dual spring barrel, the watch achieves a running time of approximately 84 hours (3.5 days).
